Devon Crates creates bespoke sustainable branded crate furniture for the home or business. We started the business having worked collectively for 12 years for the Plantabox and FurnitureCrates brands where we learned our craft. When those businesses relocated, our redundancy spurred on our passion to continue building high quality Apple Crate based displays and furniture here in the heart of Devon.

We want to continue to bring stunning, sustainable, re-useable personalised and branded crates to all retail businesses and homes across the UK. Our clients are wowed by the robust quality, eye-popping colours and pixel perfect print we create in our workshop. We always go the extra mile to ensure our crates are finished to our incredibly high standards and the only limits are your imagination!

About Mark

I’m Mark and I live in Devon with my family and my two bonkers spaniels. I’ve always enjoyed fixing and creating things and originally trained as a mechanic. I met some great people during this job and Irealised I had areal passion for customer service and got a real buzz from exceeding people's expectations. 4 yearsago, I was headhunted to join and lead a team of highly skilled people creating branded, bespoke, personalised Apple crates and crate furniture. I have had the privilege of working with some incredible brands such as Waitrose, Costa,Forthglade, Rock Gin, Britvic designing and creating stunning displays for events, retail stores and the work place whilst also helping customers with bespoke gift solutions for special occasions and home storage.

The process of ordering your personalised crate is very simple, select the product you like, pick a colour, add your personalisation and head to the check out and if you can't find what you’re looking for, then we’d love you to drop us an email or give us a call and talk to us about what you need. Whatever you have in mind, we can make it! We can add handles in specific places, build large storage solutions that can be packed away into your car, put crates on wheels, add hidden storage, add header boards and print pretty much anything! We are so passionate about our crates being built to last sustainable solutions that if you already have one of our displays that’s been well loved, we can give it a face lift and get it back looking fresh so it represents your brand in the best way possible once more.

Sustainable

The timber we use is sustainably sourced and the end product is treated with outdoor care water-based paints and stains to ensure its longevity.

Handmade

All our products are handmade in the heart of the rolling Devon hills, we start with 11mm thick wooden planks and transform them into branded crate displays, personalised crates, crate planters and any other crate idea you bring to us.
